| This large and faint emission nebula located in the constellation of Perseus is NGC1499 known as the California Nebula. It's very difficult to see in a telescope and only with long photographics exposure is possible to capture the tiny and intricate details. |

| - Exposure / Film : | Composite of two 30-minute on Kodak PJ400 Film and one 40-minute on Kodak E200 Film | 
| - Processing : | Film scanned at 2700 dpi with Nikon CoolScan LS30 scanner, enhanced with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 | 
| - Note : | Dry climate and windy from Roques. Good sky with 10 below zero from Cima Larici. |
